Laser Hair removal, Can it reduce the risk of Breast Cancer?
Laser Hair Removal alone does not reduce the risk of breast cancer. Permanent removal of the underarm hair does reduce the area that odor causing bacteria can cling to. I have not had under arm hair for many years now. I rarely wear deodorants or antiperspirants. I personally believe that the link between the metal, (aluminum) that is a main ingredient in most underarm products, is very likely the cause of many cases of breast cancer. My own mother is a breast cancer survivor. She had 21 lymph nodes removed from under her arms and 17 of them were malignant. 17 out of 21 had cancer!!! How is that so?? she only had one lump in her breast and a only in one breast... but some how the cancer ended up in both underarms. That was enough to convince to me. I don't use underarm products with metal in them any more. I don't need to. On rare occasion I feel like I need to use a deodorant. I use one that is aluminum free. The bacteria just have no where to hold on. It is great.
At 1-800 Laser Hair headquarters in Clearwater Florida we offer breast cancer survivors free underarm treatments. We believe this is a way to help reduce the risk of cancer re-occurrence.
